InBudapest

The project is situated in the up and coming District 7 of the City, in the proximity of two universities. Three buildings on one plot, built in different ages and with different architectural qualities: a typical eclectic Budapest story…

During the analysis we realized that even a “no-name” building built in the socialist era, but with modern architectural features could be valuable and recyclable even today. We turned the disadvantage of the narrow and deep original concrete pillar frame structure to the advantage of the building and we fit 84 urban micro-apartments of 25 m² to the existing structural frame. We envisioned small, jointly operated apartments for the Generation Y.
