The site at the top of one of the scenic hills is a rare beauty of the Buda side, boasting both a fantastic, almost 360 degree view of the sprawling city and in addition, it's situted in the proximity to the woods. Apart from the refurbishment and conversion of the abandoned hotel building from the 1930s, the program of the architectural competition was to design a luxury residential community to this unique place. Our proposal was a flexible, low density system which follows the natural landscape and adapts itself to the large trees of the park. The new buildings were designed by natural and renewable materials and systems, including a sustainable energy concept.
