The villa concept has been designed as the flagship building of a large real estate development of a 18 hole golf course surrounded by natural reserves and lakes in Western Hungary. Our aim was to create an adaptive architectural and building system which allows different variations in the later stages without loosing the original character and coherence. Our close reference was the mid-century Case Study Houses Program and its attention to indoor-outdoor living, open plans, rectilinear structures constructed with steel frames, and extensive use of glass.
